Development builds
Do you want to try out the latest development builds, or work on developing wasmVision itself? If so, this is the place for information.
Do you actually just want to develop a wasmVision processing module using WebAssembly? See the Processors guide.
Otherwise, read on!
Latest builds
All of our active development is happening in the dev
branch. The main
branch will contain the latest release version.
Please use the dev
branch as the base for any pull requests. Thank you!

Docker
You can run the latest development builds of wasmVision using Docker.
Pull the current development version:
docker pull ghcr.io/wasmvision/wasmvision:main
Run your desired docker commands using the tagged image ghcr.io/wasmvision/wasmvision:main
(NOT ghcr.io/wasmvision/wasmvision:latest
which is the latest released version).

cd wasmvision
go install ./cmd/wasmvision/
And run it:

macOS
You need to install Go and also OpenCV to build and run wasmVision locally.
To install OpenCV using Homebrew:
brew install opencv
Now you can clone the repo and install it locally:
git clone https://github.com/wasmvision/wasmvision.git
cd wasmvision
go install ./cmd/wasmvision/
And run it:
wasmvision run -p ./processors/hello.wasm
Docker
You can run wasmVision using Docker.
Pull the current development version:
